Doreen Tea is a Fellow of Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries (MACS) and is holding a professional certificate as a qualified Company Secretary under the Malaysian Companies Act 2016. She possesses over 30 years of experience in corporate secretarial practices, the formation of companies, corporate affairs, consultancy, advisory, and management services. She has been involved in a diverse range of corporate exercises including corporate restructuring, transfer listing, de-listing, employees’ share grant plan, joint-ventures, take-overs, mergers and acquisitions, right issues, private placements, initial public offering exercises and listing of companies on the LEAP Market, ACE Market and Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”).
As the head of CMS, she holds the primary responsibility for overseeing its overall business operations. Her duties include supervising the day-to-day activities of CMS and acting as a Joint Company Secretary for a diverse range of private and public listed companies spanning various industries. Her core responsibilities include providing corporate secretarial advice to clients on compliance matters related to various regulatory legislation, such as the Companies Act 2016, Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities, and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (“MCCG”), amongst others. She also conducts training sessions for directors and senior management on topics such as pre and post-listing obligations of a public listed company, director and principal officer responsibilities, updates on amendments to the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities and MCCG guidelines, and other relevant subjects.
Jenny Chieng is an Associate Member of the Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (MAICSA) and is holding a professional certificate as a qualified Company Secretary under the Malaysian Companies Act 2016. With an extensive career spanning more than 20 years in the corporate secretarial field, she has consistently demonstrated her expertise and dedication.
